NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Several parents had been charged with assaulting teachers and students in the previous school year, Assistant Commissioner of Police Dr. Chaswell Hanna revealed during a press conference at Police Headquarters on Sunday.
As schools are set to reopen Monday, he emphasized the importance of parents addressing their concerns with the relevant authorities before resorting to any form of physical intervention.
