Police report ‘brazen’ armed robbery in Abaco

ABACO, BAHAMAS – Two men are in custody following what policed have termed to be a ‘brazen’ armed robbery on the island of Abaco on Saturday, March 2.

According to police reports, shortly before 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, two males, one armed with a firearm and the other with a knife, entered a business establishment on Don McKay Boulevard in Marsh Harbour, where they robbed the cashier and two male customers of cash and personal items before fleeing on foot.

Police said a short time later, and as a result of diligent police investigation, two males, ages 24 and 25, of Coopers Town, Abaco were arrested.

The men are assisting police with their investigation.
