NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in New Providence recovered an unlicensed firearm on Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
According to police reports, shortly after 4:00a.m. on Tuesday, Central Detective Unit Officers, acting on information, conducted a search of a home on Twin Close, Ridgeland Park, and recovered an unlicensed shot gun and 35 rounds of ammunition.
Police said an adult male who was present during the search was taken into custody and is being questioned in connection with the unlicensed firearm and a number of recent armed robberies.
Investigations are ongoing.
