NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Royal Bahamas Police Force (RBPF) reported a police-involved shooting over the weekend.
According to police reports, shortly before 9:00p.m. on Saturday, police responded to Wulff Road near to Minnie Street, after receiving reports of a male being armed with a firearm.
While engaging the suspect, he produced a black firearm and pointed it in the direction of the officers.
The officers, being in fear for their lives, shot the suspect. He was transported to hospital in critical condition.
Police said investigations are ongoing.
