Man shot while walking through track road
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in the capital are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Sunday, May 26, 2019, which left an adult male dead.
According to police reports, shortly after 10:00a.m., a male was walking through a track road off Rupert Dean Lane, when he was approached by an armed man who shot him, before getting into a burgundy vehicle and speeding away.
The victim was assisted to hospital by relatives and later pronounced dead.
Police are appealing to members of the public, who may have information that can assist with this investigations, to contact the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991/2, Crime stoppers at 328-TIPS (8477) or the nearest police station.
