FREEPORT, BAHAMAS – Police on Grand Bahama are investigating an alleged suicide attempt that took place over the weekend.
Initial reports indicate that on Saturday, a female reportedly ingested a quantity of over-the-counter medication. By the early hours of Sunday morning, she began showing signs of distress, prompting a family member to call emergency medical services.
She was transported to hospital for medical treatment and evaluation. Her current condition remains unknown as investigations continue.
