NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in New Providence are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the persons responsible for a shooting incident on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, which left an adult male in hospital.
According to police reports, shortly after 11:00p.m., a man was sitting in a vehicle in front of a residence on Alexandria Road off Carmichael Road, when he was approached by a group of men armed with firearms, who opened fire in his direction, hitting him multiple times about the body, before getting into a gray jeep and speeding away.
The injured man was transported to hospital and is detained in serious condition.
Investigations are ongoing.
