NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police on New Providence have taken a man into custody in connection with a shooting incident last Thursday, Dec. 6, which has left another man in hospital.
According to reports, shortly after 5:00 p.m., a man was at Rupert Dean Lane off Poinciana Drive when he was approached by an armed man, who shot him before attempting to run away. A police officer who was in the area at the time gave chase after the suspect and caught him a short distance away. The injured man was transported to hospital and is listed in serious condition.
Investigations are ongoing.
