NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in the capital are investigating the country’s latest homicide which occurred on Friday, March 29, 2019, and left an adult male dead.
According to police reports, shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Friday, police were alerted to reports of gunshots in the Bain Town area and shortly thereafter, the lifeless body of an adult male was discovered lying on the ground on Augusta Street with injuries.
Paramedics were called to the scene and attempted to revive the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are appealing to members of the public who may have information that can assist with this investigation to contact the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991/2, Crime Stoppers at 328-TIPS (8477) or the nearest police station.
Investigations are ongoing.
