Police investigate armed robbery in GB

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police on the island of Grand Bahama are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Monday.

According to police reports, shortly after 1:00a.m., police were called to a business establishment in the International Bazaar where it was reported that two culprits, one armed with a firearm, entered that establishment and robbed the cashier of money and two patrons of cash and personal items.

Police are actively investigating this matter and are appealing to the public for any information that can help them solve this matter, to call the Central Detective Unit at 350-3107, 911, 919 or call your nearest police station.

Police are appealing to anyone with information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call police at 919 or crime stoppers at 328-TIPS (8477) in New Providence or 1-242-300-8477 in the Family Islands
