ELEUTHERA, BAHAMAS — On Wednesday, 21st May 2025, officers attached to Rock Sound Police Station confiscated a large quantity of suspected Marijuana in the area of Lighthouse Point, Bannerman Town.
According to the initial report, shortly before 2:30 p.m., while acting on information, officers conducted inquiries in the area of Lighthouse Point where they discovered a suspicious box that had reportedly floated ashore. Upon searching the box, the officer discovered packages of suspected Marijuana. The weight and street value of the suspected Marijuana is not known at this time. However, the Drug Enforcement Unit will continue the investigation into this matter.
