NASSAU, BAHAMAS – On Thursday Nov. 29, sometime around 4:35 p.m., Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) Officers, acting on information executed a search warrant at the residence of an adult male situated at Cowpen Road and recovered 18 plastic bags with a quantity of suspected marijuana and a clear plastic with a small quantity of suspected cocaine.
The male was taken into custody and is expected to be formally charged before a Magistrate Court this week.
Police said the weight of suspected marijuana was 33lbs, 10ozs and the weight of the cocaine was five grams.
The drugs have a value of $33,000.
