Police Commissioner announces new RBPF posts

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Various officers within the Royal Bahamas Police Force (RBPF) have received new leadership posts; Commissioner of Police Clayton Fernander made the shuffle amid the alleged case of bribery which reportedly involves Chief Superintendent Michael Johnson who was previously in charge of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).

Fernander noted that Chief Superintendent Anthon Rahming is now the Officer-in-Charge of the Criminal Investigation Department during this period. Amid the pre- retirement of Assistant Commissioner Warren Johnson, Assistant Commissioner Roberto Goodman will now control the units of Crime, Missing Persons and Drugs.
