NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 21-year-old male was arrested by Operation Cease Fire officers, which included the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, after a quantity of suspected marijuana was confiscated on Wednesday August 21, 2024.
According to initial reports, around 8:00 p.m., a team of officers acting on information arrived at a home in the vicinity of Cowpen Road and Montgomery Avenue, where they seized a quantity of suspected hydroponic marijuana, resulting in the arrest of a 21-year-old male occupant.
The suspected drugs weigh 2.8 pounds, with an estimated street value of $5,600.00.
Investigations are ongoing.
