Police appeal to public to help solve country’s latest homicides

Police are searching for the suspect responsible for a shooting that has left one male dead on Saturday, January 20th.

According to reports, shortly after 5:00 am, a man was walking on Rupert Dean Lane when he was approached by another man armed with a firearm, who shot him about the body before fleeing on foot. Paramedics were called to the scene but were unable to revive the victim and she was pronounced dead on site.

Police are also investigating a shooting incident that left one man dead on Friday, January 19th.

Shortly before 9:00 pm, a group of men were patronizing a local business establishment on Maxwell Lane off Lightbourn Avenue, when four men came there. An argument ensued and a few minutes later gunshots were heard. The men ran, but it was later discovered that one man was unresponsive. Paramedics were called on scene, but were unable to revive the man, who had gunshot injuries to his body. He was pronounced dead on scene.
