Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis confirmed Thursday that the decision on the posts left vacant by former board members of Bahamas Power and Light (BPL) will have to be handed downed by the Governor General.
There is still no word on who will be appointed.
The announcement came after a series of controversial events the board – which was led by Osborne – was forced to resign.
Works Minister Desmond Bannister broke his silence on the saga blaming the relationship between the company and its board for a deterioration in communication.
