Plane crashes in waters off Treasure Cay, Abaco

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The Aircraft Accident Investigation Authority is presently investigating an accident that took place in waters off Treasure Cay, Abaco this morning.

A Piper PA32 Cherokee Six with registration C6-TOY crashed into waters off of Treasure Cay after departing the Treasure Cay Airport.

No further details were provided as investigations continue into the matter.
