Operation “Night Line” leads to the arrest of 12 persons

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Twelve persons were taken into custody on the island of Grand Bahama as police in the nation’s second city launched “Operation Night Line” on Thursday, May 30, 2019.

Police reported that shortly after 1:00 a.m. on Thursday, officers of “Operation Night Life,” consisting of Police, Customs and Immigration officers, while armed with a search warrant, went into a business establishment on East Sunrise Highway, and discovered on the floor of that establishment a .40 pistol with a magazine containing eleven .40 rounds of ammunition.

Twelve persons were taken into police custody and are assisting police with the investigation into this matter.
