NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An officer is in hospital after being shot by another officer in what police are describing as an accidental discharge on a New Providence police compound Thursday morning.
Police say the incident happened shortly before 10 a.m. The injured officer was transported to hospital, where his injuries are said to be non-life-threatening.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are now under active investigation.
