The offers continue to roll in for highly touted offensive lineman Michael Cartwright as the nationally ranked junior has seen a major uptick in his recruitment as of late.
Cartwright has garnered eight scholarship offers from National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I schools in the month of May alone.
Schools that made official offers this month include Western Kentucky, Kent State, University of Central Florida, University of Alabama, Georgia State, Temple, University of Massachusetts and Nebraska.
Prior to May’s offers, Cartwright received offers from Tulane, Florida International University, Indiana, Marshall, Florida Atlantic University, Southern Mississippi, Arkansas Pine Bluff and Pittsburgh.
Cartwright, who is preparing for his season senior, is expected to see even more offers roll in, seeing that the Lions are projected to be one of the top high school teams in the United States.
Last season, the Lions won its second Class A Florida High School state title 24-7 over eight-time state champion Jacksonville University Christian.
