NO MORE ROOM: Baha Mar sold out for final week in December

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Baha Mar witnessed a “historic” and “record-breaking” performance this year, with a senior executive revealing that the booking pace for the first quarter of 2024 is “very strong.”

Robert ‘Sandy’ Sands, Baha Mar’s Senior Vice President, reported that the resort’s strong performance resulted from several successful events that drove visitors to the resort destination.

“We are very happy to say that we are sold out for the final week of December. There are no rooms at the inn. I am also very happy to announce that our family market has indicated that there was a need for additional family amenities at Baha Mar. On December 22, we will be opening our 5,000 square feet game room that will further help to boost business in the family market for the years to come,” said Sands.

“Our first quarter booking pace is very strong. The pace is ahead of this same time last year,r and we are looking to ensure that we sustain in 2024 the same levels that we achieved in 2023.”

Sands also noted that the demolition of the former Melia Hotel, adjacent to Baha Mar, is now complete.
