NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Some individuals have seen a reduction in their Bahamas Power and Light bills, according to Minister of Energy and Transport Jobeth Coleby Davis. Coleby-Davis provided an update on government’s plan to assist in reducing electricity bills through infrastructure advancements and policy changes.
High electricity bills were a grave concern for many BPL consumers from summer to fall 2024. Several initiatives were put in place to address the issue.
