National Arts Festival gets underway

NASSAU, The Bahamas — Primary and high school students garnered applause and cheers from the audience for their skills on percussion instruments, at the Dundas Centre for the Performing Arts, during the E. Clement Bethel National Arts Festival New Providence adjudication, on March 14, 2019.

The New Providence adjudication enters its second week, and over 1,100 entrants in New Providence are expected to take part in dance, drama, voice, playing musical instruments and arts and craft, through March 21.

The Dundas Centre for the Performing Arts is the venue for dance, musical instruments and drama, while Holy Trinity Church Activities Centre, Stapledon Gardens, is the venue for vocal performances.
