A father of six is dead and another man in a fight for his life, after they were both shot multiple times in the Fox Hill area early Friday morning.
The shooting incident, police said, took place shortly before 10 a.m. and put the country’s murder count to 65 for the year, according to Eyewitness News records.
Investigators said a group of men were through Dorsette Street, when they were approached by a masked gunman, who opened fire on them before fleeing the area in a waiting vehicle.
Two men were shot and rushed to hospital in private vehicles, where police said, one of them died shortly after his arrival.
Police have not officially identified the victim but Eyewitness News understand he is 36-year-old Lamon Johnson, also known as “Dopey”.
