NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Police have advised that the 36-year-old female shot in Yellow Elder Gardens has succumbed to her injuries.
Initial reports indicated that the victim was involved in a verbal altercation with her 37-year-old boyfriend outside their residence on Melvern Road when the shooting occurred. The victim was taken to hospital via private vehicle, where she succumbed to her injuries shortly after 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, 29th June, 2024.
Her death pushes the country’s murder count up to 61 for the year.
