Munroe addresses gun trafficking concerns

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – National Security Minister Wayne Munroe has downplayed concerns about gun trafficking into The Bahamas in the wake of Donald Trump re-election as U.S. president.

Speaking to the media on Friday, Munroe emphasized that there is no evidence linking the Republican Party’s policies to an increase in firearm smuggling into the region. His comments follow reports which noted that the GOP’s 2024 platform which briefly mentioned gun rights.
