Multiple suspects arrested and charged for criminal offenses

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Royal Bahamas Police Force has revealed that the Criminal Investigation Department and the Anti-Gang & Firearms Investigation Task Force Unit arrested and charged a number of individuals between July 29, 2024 – August 4, 2024 in connection with various criminal offenses.

During the week in review, the Criminal Investigation Department criminally charged nine (9) individuals for several offences including: Abetment to Commit Murder, Armed Robbery, Indecent Assault, Making a False Complaint, Murder, Receiving Stolen Property, Stealing by Reason of Service, and Violation of Bail.

The Anti-Gang & Firearms Investigation Task Force Unit successfully seized eleven (11) firearms and five hundred fourteen (514) rounds of ammunition, resulting in the arrest and arraignment of eight (8) individuals from New Providence, Grand Bahama, and Eleuthera.
