Mrs. Celeste Lockhart is Urban Renewal’s 2019 Mother of the Year

The Ministry of Social Services and Urban Development’s Urban Renewal Commission held an Annual Mother’s Day Awards Ceremony and Luncheon on Saturday afternoon, May 18, 2019 at National Training Agency, under the theme “a Mother’s Love is the Fuel that Enables Us to Achieve the Impossible.”

Named ‘Mother of the Year 2019’ was Mrs. Celeste Lockhart of Fox Hill.

Other honourees were: Apostle Laura Johnson Taylor of Free Town; Mrs. Cynthia Brown of St. Barnabas; Mrs. Iris Ingraham Delon of Bain and Grants Town; Mrs. Margaret Wilson of Pinewood Gardens; Mrs. Rosetta Butler Johnson of Englerston; Mrs. Stephanie Woodside Frith of Fort Charlotte; Mrs. Nickeil Davis of Centreville; Mrs. Melony Marie Watson of Nassau Village; and Ms. Irene Thompson of Flamingo Gardens.  Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Social Services and Urban Development Michael Foulkes offered remarks and congratulations, and presented awards.  Shonell Ferguson, MP for Fox Hill, congratulated the new Mother of the Year 2019, Mrs. Lockhart — a dedicated member of the Fox Hill community.  (BIS Photos/Raymond A.
