Motorcyclist is country’s 18th traffic fatality

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The country recorded its 18th traffic fatality for the year on Monday, April 1, 2019.

The incident, according to police reports, unfolded shortly after 2:00 a.m. on Monday on Carmichael Road and Cedar Way when a motorcyclist collided with a truck.

Police said paramedics were called to the scene and confirmed the man had succumbed to his injuries.

Investigations are said to be ongoing.
