NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The Ministry of Health (MOH) confirmed two more COVID-related deaths along with 93 new cases yesterday.
The MOH dashboard for Thursday, September 10, was released this morning.
Officials confirmed the deaths of two women from New Providence, a 67-year-old and 73-year-old who died on September 3, and August 30, respectively.
There are also three more deaths under investigation.
Of the new cases, there were 89 in New Providence, two in Grand Bahama, one in Inagua, and one case with its location still pending.
According to the dashboard, there have been 37 new recoveries, and hospitalized cases rose by one.
In a statement, the ministry advised the public that the Blue Hill Road Clinic will be closed today due to “circumstances beyond our control”.
The clinic will re-open on Monday, September 14.
All other clinics are opened to the general public for the usual services, and the South Beach Acute Care and Referral Centre is opened to COVID-19 related cases only.
