NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Minister of Education Glenys Hanna-Martin maintains her opposition to the Nassau Cruise Port’s water park project. During House of Assembly proceedings last week, Minister Hanna-Martin advised developers at the port to “Please, give it a rest” regarding the project. When pressed by media for further comment today, the minister reiterated her stance.
NCP CEO Mike Maura stated in a recent interview with a local daily that the $35 million pool-based project aims to create 350 additional jobs and be completed within 18 months.
