NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Minister of Labour Dion Foulkes and the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers Confederation, Jeffrey Beckles, both pledged to further strengthen the partnership that exists between the two organizations for the betterment of Bahamians and the local business community.
This renewed commitment came as Beckles made a courtesy call on Minister Foulkes on Monday at the Minister’s office in Charlotte House on Shirley and Charlotte Streets.
Foulkes was accompanied by Cecilia Strachan, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Labour. Beckles was joined by Khrystle Rutherford-Ferguson, Vice Chair of The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers Confederation.
Both parties discussed a wide range of topics pertaining to the local business community.
