NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Two-time Olympic gold medalist Shaunae Miller-Uibo is injured; Bahamas Association of Athletic Associations (BAAA) President Drumeco Archer confirmed this much with the media on Friday.

He made the confirmation trackside at the BAAA Kids Athletics Invitational and Junior and Senior National Track and Field Championships.

Miller-Uibo was set to run in the women’s 400 meters but did not take the track. Officials are still considering whether she will participate in the 4×400 mixed relay.

Archer did not confirm the nature of the injury or if she is expected to miss significant time.
