Miller hopes Pike partnership doesn’t end up being another opportunity in the wind

play-sharp-fill

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Amid ongoing concerns regarding the stability and affordability of the country’s power supply, Former BEC Chairman Leslie Miller says he hopes that new renewable energy partner PIKE will be able to make good on its promise to reduce electricity costs by 50 percent in two years, as the Bahamian people desperately need the relief.

Reflecting on his own time as chairman of BPL, at the time called BEC, Miller said that the country had missed several opportunities similar to that offered by PIKE that could have improved energy costs and supply.
