Marijuana field worth $600k found in Abaco

Six-hundred thousand dollars worth of marijuana was discovered in a field in Abaco yesterday afternoon, according to police.

Police said the marijuana field was located in the Marsh Harbor area, shortly after noon.

According to reports, intelligence led officers of the Abaco District to a bushy area south of the Leonard Thompson International Airport, where they discovered 1000 marijuana trees ranging from two to eight feet in height.

There were no arrests made in the matter however, police are said to be actively investigating.
