Authorities are still on the hunt for the men responsible for a stabbing incident, which took place on Rose Island last week.
Law enforcement believes that the culprits are jet ski operators. This means that if authorities happen to catch them – and they are in fact jet ski operators – the Port Department will immediately suspend and possibly cancel their licenses.
The Port Department issued a statement Wednesday, which made it abundantly clear that Rose Island is not a regulated area for commercial activities under the Commercial Recreational Watercraft Act.
