NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A male and female is in custody after they were arrested in the capital for possession of an illegal firearm on Sunday, Feb. 24.
According to police reports, shortly after 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, officers from the Western Division, acting on intelligence, conducted a search of a carry-on bag at the Domestic Terminal at the Lynden Pindling International Airport and uncovered a .32mm pistol.
A male and a female were taken into custody in connection with this matter, and are expected to appear in court this week to be formally charged.
