Man struck, killed in traffic mishap

A man is dead after he was struck by the driver of a truck on the Tonique Darling Williams Highway shortly after 12.a.m Friday.

According to police the victim was walking in the northeast bound lane on the highway when he was shit  by a 1998 Ford F150 Truck.

Paramedics were called to the scene but were unable to revive him and he was pronounced dead. Police say that the driver of the truck remained on the scene and is assisting police with this investigation.

The investigations are being continued by officers of the Traffic Division of the RBPF.
