Man stabbed to death

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police are on the hunt for the culprit or culprits responsible for the country’s 28th homicide that occurred Tuesday afternoon, following the stabbing death of a man off Carmichael Road.

According to police reports, shortly after 4:00p.m. on Tuesday, police and paramedics responded to Dominica Way, Sunshine Park, after receiving reports that a male was walking in the area, with what appeared to be stab wounds to his body.

Police said paramedics were able to stabilize the injured man and transported him to hospital, where a few hours later he was pronounced dead.

This stabbing incident on Tuesday was recorded as the country’s 28th murder.

Police investigations are ongoing.
