FREEPORT, GRAND BAHAMA – Police in the nation’s second city are investigating a stabbing incident, which occurred on Monday, May 20, 2019 on Taino Beach.
According to police reports, shortly after 12:00a.m. on Monday, a male reported that while at Taino Beach, he and a male who is known to him, were involved in an altercation when the male produced a knife and stabbed him in the abdomen.
Police said the victim was rushed to the hospital via private vehicle, seen by a doctor, and as of yesterday, was listed in serious but stable condition.
Police are actively investigating this matter.
