Man shot in Nassau Village

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Thursday 04th July, 2024, resulting in 59-year-old male being injured.

According to preliminary reports, around 2:00 p.m., the victim was at a residence on Butler Street in Nassau Village when he was reportedly shot in the leg by an armed male who fled the immediate area.

EMS personnel transported the victim to the hospital for medical assistance.

Police are appealing to the public with information about this incident to come forward or contact 911/919, the Criminal Investigation Department at 502-9991, or Crime Stoppers at 328- TIPS (8477).
