Man shot in front of liquor store survives

A man is nursing a gun shot wound this morning, after he was shot while in a liquor store this weekend, police said.

According to reports by police, the incident happened shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday, when the victim had just pulled up to a liquor store on Gladstone Road.

Police said as he exited the vehicle, he heard gunshots and realized after the fact that he had been shot.

The victim, police said, drove himself to the Carmichael Road Police Station and was later taken to Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) where he is said to be in stable condition.

Investigations are said to be ongoing.
