NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police on the Island of New Providence are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the person responsible for a shooting incident which occurred on Saturday, February 23, which left an adult male with injuries.
According to police reports, shortly before 8:00 p.m. on Friday, a man was outside a business establishment on Bethel Avenue when a grey Honda Passo driven by a male passed and opened fire on the crowd.
A short time later, a male realized that he had been shot. He was transported to hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Police are appealing to members of the public who may have information concerning this incident, to contact the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991/2.
Investigations are ongoing.
