NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police on the island of New Providence are investigating a shooting incident, which occurred on Saturday, May 25, 2019, leaving an adult male detained in hospital.
According to police reports, shortly after 2:00p.m. on Saturday, a male was standing at the junction of Cambridge Lane and West Street, when two males in a silver car approached him and discharged a firearm in his direction, hitting him to the left ankle before driving away.
The victim was transported to hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Investigations are ongoing.
