Man robbed of Rolex watch, another robbed of cash and cheques

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in New Providence are seeking the public’s assistance in apprehending three male suspects responsible for two armed robbery incidents that occurred on Thursday, April 11, 2019.

In the first incident, shortly after 10:00a.m. last Thursday, a male was on Shirley Street near a business establishment when he was approached by a man armed with a firearm, who robbed him of cash and cheques before making good his escape on foot.

In the second Incident, shortly after 4:00p.m. last Thursday, a male was in the parking lot of a business establishment on Robinson Road when he was approached by two men, one armed with a firearm, who robbed him of a Rolex watch before making good their escape in a white Toyota Passo license plate number A3590.

Police are appealing to members of the public, who may have information that can assist with these investigations, to contact the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991/2, Crime stoppers at 328-TIPS (8477) or the nearest police station.

Investigations are ongoing.
