NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man was killed during a traffic collision on East Bay Street shortly before 10 pm last night. police said.
According to reports, a white Nissan Note and a burgundy Honda Accord collided in the vicinity of Montagu.
Both vehicles were badly damaged.
Police said a man in the driver’s seat of the Note was unresponsive and the occupants of both vehicles had visible injuries.
Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene and the man was pronounced dead.
Police did not specify the number of passengers in either vehicle, but noted that three other people involved in the incident — a man and two women — were transported to the hospital for medical attention.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
