NASSAU, BAHAMAS — A man was shot and killed on Balfour Avenue near EP Roberts Primary School last night, according to police.
Officers responding to reports of a shooting, found the victim lying on the sidewalk outside the Village Pub with gunshot wounds.
Police said based on their investigation, the man exited the restaurant and lounge and walked east of the establishment when a dark colored Nissan pulled alongside him.
A man armed with a firearm exited the vehicle and shot the victim, whose identity has not been released.
Police made their usual appeal for anyone with information on the shooting to contact them.
The shooting marks the third killing this week.
On Monday, A mother and her eight-year-old daughter were found dead in their Stark Street with injuries.
While the motive for the killing remains unknown, police suggested the double murder was domestic in nature.
