NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 35-year-old man was arrested by officers of the Central Detective Unit (CDU) on Tuesday in connection with a break-in at a Financial Institution in Grand Bahama last Friday.
According to police reports, shortly after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, officers of the Central Detective Unit arrested the male in the Coral Road area. He is expected to be formally arraigned before the Magistrate Court this week.
Meanwhile, officers of the Northern District continued to make significant arrests on Tuesday.
Police reports state that on Tuesday, officers on the Island of Abaco arrested three males for possession of a firearm with the intent to endanger life and grievous harm.
Officers of the Central Police Station also arrested three males on outstanding warrants issued by the Magistrate Court.
Additionally, officers of the Mobile Division arrested two males on outstanding warrants and shop breaking, and officers of the Rapid Response Unit took into custody three males for causing harm and outstanding warrants.
