NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Police say investigations are underway following a shooting incident on Zion Boulevard that injured a 35-year-old male shortly before 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 20 August 2024.
Preliminary reports state that the victim had just left a residence and was preparing to enter a vehicle when he heard what sounded like gunshots; moments later, he realized he had sustained injuries to his face.
The victim presented himself to the hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries and subsequently discharged.
