NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in the capital are investigating the circumstances surrounding a male and a female who was allegedly attacked while attending a musical event at Arawak Cay on Sunday evening.
Police reported that shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, a male was taken to the Accident and Emergency (A&E) section of the Princess Margaret Hospital in a non-responsive state with suspected chop injuries to the upper body.
Police reported that a female also presented herself to A&E with multiple stab wounds.
“They are both being attended by a doctor. Further information is that both victims received their injuries while attending a musical event at Arawak Cay,” police reported.
Police said investigations into this incident are ongoing.
